The SAS User Experience Design team commissioned a data art piece to celebrate the members of their team.
The SAS design team embodies strength, growth and resilience. The metaphor of tree rings to depict team data is relevant in many ways. When we think of trees we think of growth represented in rings and we also think of strength.
A little known fact about three is that they get their strength from the wind. A tree without wind would grow, but eventually collapse. For the design team, wind equates to design challenges they face each day. Together as a team they get through those challenges and come out stronger than before. Much like a tree in the wind.
